In Friday's league battle, the host Carthage Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Center Roughriders.
The Bulldogs (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Kilgore nipped Sabine (Gladewater, TX), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Roughriders (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Henderson nipped Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 7-0, in a league battle.
