Brunswick School Bruins (Greenwich, CT) fans left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT), 3-2 in a league match.
The Bruins (20-9) will now prepare for their match against Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Pride enter the non-league match with a 6-16 record.
Next up, the Highlanders encounter the Winchendon Wapiti (Winchendon, MA) in a match, on Saturday, February 18. Frederick Gunn will attempt to advance on its 17-9 season record. The Wapiti enter the match with a 9-14 record after their 6-0 league loss to Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA).
