In Friday's league battle, the host Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the China Spring Cougars.
The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees come into the 4A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 0-12 record.
The Cougars (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Salado (Salado, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Salado nudged Gatesville (Gatesville, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
