George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns face the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region 3 District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. George Ranch will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 1-1 league Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX).

The Bulldogs now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Bend Elkins for a 6A Region 3 District 20 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Fort Bend Austin will face a Knights team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-7.
