The Katy Tigers routed the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Travis was routed by Katy Taylor (Katy, TX), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Mavericks now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 18. Morton Ranch will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
