Bethel Warriors (Bethel, AK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kotzebue Huskies (Kotzebue, AK), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bethel upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign.

Next up, the Huskies play the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) in a 3A Western bout, on Friday, February 23. Kotzebue will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Whalers come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 62-57 league loss to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK).
