Rhode Island High School Basketball - Bishop Hendricken topples Cumberland

In Saturday's league outing, the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) basketball squad beat the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), by a count of 53-37.

The Hawks (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 9-14 record. In their last outing, Westerly was topped by Cranston East (Cranston, RI), 49-33, in a non-league outing.

The Clippers now hold a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. Cumberland will clash with a Kilties squad coming off a 60-48 league loss to Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 6-15.
