Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) and the host California Pintos (California, MO), saw Smith-Cotton's basketball squad hold off California by a tally of 64-61.

With the victory, Smith-Cotton improves its record to 4-20 on the campaign. The Tigers host Capital City (Jefferson City, MO) to play the Cavaliers in a Central Missouri challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 10-10.

Next up, the Pintos play the Camdenton Lakers (Camdenton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. California will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record.
