The Tularosa Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Capitan Tigers to 49 in the Wildcats league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mescalero Apache for a 2A District 3 contest on Tuesday, February 20. Tularosa will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 60-49 league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Chiefs record now stands at 11-11.
The Tigers (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM). The Bears come into the 2A District 3 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Cloudcroft prevailed over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 51-39, in a league contest.
