Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 15-13 on the season. The Indians travel to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Ridgeland lost 58-45 in their recent non-league bout against Adairsville (Adairsville, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Dawson County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 58-45 non-league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).
