The Pikeville Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting East Ridge Warriors to 39 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby Valley for a District 59 contest on Monday, February 19. Pikeville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-60 league win over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-13.
The Warriors (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Phelps triumphed over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
