Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Evanston Devils (Evanston, WY), 61-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Star Valley upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Green River (Green River, WY) to play the Wolves in a 4A Southwest bout on Thursday, February 22. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 5-12. Green River won 53-52 in their recent league bout against Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY)

Next up, the Devils play the Jackson Hole Broncs (Jackson, WY) in a 4A Southwest bout, on Saturday, February 24. Evanston will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Broncs come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 53-52 league loss to Green River (Green River, WY).
