South Iron Panthers (Annapolis, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Festus Tigers (Festus, MO), 74-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Iron upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season. The Panthers host North County (Bonne Terre, MO) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-20.

Next up, the Tigers play the Kingston Cougars (Cadet, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Festus will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 63-47 non-league win over Lesterville (Lesterville, MO).
