In Saturday's league match, the visiting Stanfield Tigers basketball team scored a good 65-56 triumph over the Grant Union Prospectors.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Stanfield will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 19-8 record after their 53-47 league loss to Gervais (Gervais, OR).
With the defeat, Grant Union moves to 18-9 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Willamina (Willamina, OR) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 23. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 21-6. Willamina lost 63-29 in their recent league match against Western Christian (Salem, OR)
