Louisiana Bulldogs (Louisiana, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO), 57-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Louisiana upgrades its record to 4-19 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 16-9. Monroe City won 46-32 in their recent league bout against Macon (Macon, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the South Shelby Cardinals (Shelbina, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Mark Twain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Higbee (Higbee, MO).
