The McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) basketball crushed the host North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), 56-33 in Saturday's league test.
The Mustangs (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Wakpala (Wakpala, SD). The Sioux go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Wakpala walloped North Central (Eureka, SD), 71-41, in a non-league test.
The Thunder now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Great Plains Lutheran for a non-league test on Monday, February 19. North Central will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.
