The Milton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds to 41 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fair Haven for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Milton will meet a Slaters team coming off a 78-58 league win over Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 12-8.

The Thunderbirds (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Lamoille was outscored by Spaulding (Barre, VT), 62-40, in a non-league contest.
