In Saturday's league match, the visiting Mitchell Kernels basketball team scored a decisive 75-53 triumph over the Roosevelt Rough Riders.
In their next game, the Kernels face the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) in a AA match, on Tuesday, February 20. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record. The Lynx enter the match with a 14-3 record after their 52-38 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
With the defeat, Roosevelt moves to 12-6 on the year. The Rough riders travel to Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to face the Golden Eagles in a AA match on Tuesday, February 20. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-12. Aberdeen Central won 56-50 in their recent league match against Brookings (Brookings, SD)
