With the victory, Powell County upgrades its record to 13-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Wolfe County (Campton, KY) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 19. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 11-12.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 43-30 non-league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY).
