In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) basketball squad beat the host Crook County Cowboys (Prineville, OR), by a margin of 62-47.

The Cougars (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Philomath (Philomath, OR). The Warriors go into the 4A Oregon West outing with a 18-4 record. In their last outing, Philomath was topped by Stayton (Stayton, OR), 35-32, in a league outing.

The Cowboys now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madras for a 4A Tri-Valley outing on Tuesday, February 20. Crook County will clash with a White Buffaloes squad coming off a 65-48 league win over Molalla (Molalla, OR). The White Buffaloes record now stands at 16-6.
