In Saturday's league outing, the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM) basketball squad beat the host Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM), by a count of 41-28.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers go into the A District 2 outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Magdalena defeated Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 50-39, in a league outing.
The SonBlazers now hold a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Animas for a A District 2 outing on Thursday, February 22.
