St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR), 50-31 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Paul upgrades its record to 18-7 on the season. The Buckaroos host Wallowa (Wallowa, OR) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 15-10. Wallowa lost 40-38 in their recent league bout against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the South Wasco County Redsides (Maupin, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Crosshill Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Redsides go into the bout with a 23-9 record after their 48-36 league win over Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR).
