The Spotswood Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting East Brunswick Bears to 35 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Brunswick for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Spotswood will battle a North Brunswick Raiders team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders record now stands at 5-20.

The Bears (16-25) will now prepare for their contest against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Freehold Township was defeated by Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ), 76-56, in a non-league contest.
