Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY), 62-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Middlesboro upgrades its record to 7-18 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Barbourville (Barbourville, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 12-13. Barbourville lost 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy (Oliver Springs, TN)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
