Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Millbrook School Mustangs (Millbrook, NY), 3-2 in a league match.

The Griffins (10-13) will now prepare for their match against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers enter the match with a 19-3 record. In their last match, Avon Old Farms was nipped by Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 5-1, in a league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a match, on Sunday, February 18. Millbrook School will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The Pelicans enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 7-2 league win over Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA).
