South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neshoba Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23.
With the loss, Stringer falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to George County (Lucedale, MS) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
