Louisiana High School Baseball - Catholic - N.I. sneaks past Notre Dame

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) and the visiting Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA), saw Catholic - N.I.'s baseball team get by Notre Dame by a tally of 4-3.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Teurlings Catholic held off Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Pioneers encounter the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 20. Notre Dame will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 3-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Bunkie (Bunkie, LA).
