Alabama High School Baseball - Lexington loses to Sheffield

Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 13-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Sheffield advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hatton (Town Creek, AL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 1-2.

The Golden Bears now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colbert Heights for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Lexington will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
