The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL) and the visiting Luverne Tigers (Luverne, AL), saw New Brockton's baseball team gain a win over Luverne by a tally of 14-4.

The Gamecocks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Carroll was overwhelmed by Zion Chapel (Jack, AL), 8-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 17. Luverne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Zion Chapel (Jack, AL).
