Mississippi High School Baseball - Simpson Academy sneaks past Tri-County Academy

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) and the visiting Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS), saw Simpson Academy's baseball team get by Tri-County Academy by a tally of 5-4.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Presbyterian Christian held off Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the St. Aloysius Flashes (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Tri-County Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Flashes enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS).
