North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Airy nips Alleghany

February 17, 2025: Mount Airy, NC 27030

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Mount Airy Granite Bears basketball team scored a close 42-40 win over the Alleghany Trojans.

The Granite Bears (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A Northwest contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, East Wilkes edged Starmount (Boonville, NC), 81-49, in a league contest.
