Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Landry Buccaneers (New Orleans, LA), 67-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Archbishop Shaw upgrades its record to 30-3 on the year. The Eagles host East Jefferson (Metairie, LA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 23-19.
The Buccaneers now sport a 21-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edna Karr for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Landry will face a Cougars squad coming off a 71-41 non-league win over Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 18-22.
