Delaware High School Basketball - Smyrna overwhelms Caesar Rodney

The Smyrna Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Caesar Rodney Riders to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Georges Tech for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Smyrna will confront a Hawks team coming off a 65-59 non-league loss to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Caesar Rodney falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Riders travel to Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE) to confront the Golden Knights in a Henlopen - Northern game on Tuesday, February 18. The Golden Knights go into the game with a record of 12-6. Sussex Central won 61-45 in their recent league game against Polytech (Woodside, DE)
