The June Buchanan Crusaders basketball squad (Pippa Passes, KY), was crushed 68-33 in Monday's league battle with the host Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY)
With the victory, Cordia advances its record to 4-21 on the year. The Lions travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 12-14. Leslie County lost 68-48 in their recent non-league battle against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY)
The Crusaders now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jenkins for a District 53 battle on Tuesday, February 18. June Buchanan will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 57-45 league win over Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 21-4.
