Michigan High School Basketball - Cousino can't hold off Utica Ford

Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI), 52-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Utica Ford advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 6-10. Lutheran North won 63-54 in their recent non-league match against Marine City (Marine City, MI)

The Patriots now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastpointe for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. Cousino will face a Shamrocks squad coming off a 52-47 league loss to Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Shamrocks record now stands at 10-10.
