The Northside Vikings defeated the host Fleming Colonels basketball squad by a final score of 54-46 in Monday's league outing.
Next, the Vikings clash with the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a Blue Ridge outing, on Tuesday, February 18. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 21-1 season record. The Terriers come into the outing with a 11-11 record after their 68-51 league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
The Colonels (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the Blue Ridge outing with a 10-14 record. In their last outing, Staunton River overcame Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 51-50, in a non-league outing.
