The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) and the visiting Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), observed Millbrook's basketball team knock off Sherando by a score of 69-57.

The Pioneers (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Cougars come into the Northwestern challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Kettle Run was knocked off by James Wood (Winchester, VA), 51-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Sherando will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 75-39 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).
