In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 69-57 triumph over the Alpena Wildcats.
The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Blue Devils go into the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Gaylord was topped by Petoskey (Petoskey, MI), 56-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) in a Big North contest, on Friday, February 21. Alpena will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record.
