In Monday's league test, the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) basketball squad defeated the visiting West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT), by a final score of 58-41.
Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 19. Hartford will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Slaters come into the test with a 13-3 record after their 61-27 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, VT).
The Golden Horde (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT). The Otters come into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Otter Valley went down by Windsor (Windsor, VT), 80-27, in a league test.
