Non Varsity Opponent (, ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Klawock Chieftains (Klawock, AK), 42-17 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Non Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 119-235 on the year. The travel to Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 5-11. Birchwood Christian won 47-19 in their recent league match against Nanwalek (Nanwalek, AK)
The Chieftains now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Angoon for a 1A Southeast match on Thursday, February 20. Klawock will face a Eagles squad coming off a 50-22 league loss to Kake (Kake, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
