The Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) basketball edged the visiting Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), 55-51 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 15-17 record. They play next when they travel to Havana for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Mendon Unity will play a Ducks team coming off a 65-36 league win over Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Ducks record now stands at 20-10.
With the loss, Rushville-Industry falls to 10-20 on the campaign.
