The Pierz Pioneers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels to 51 in the Pioneers league triumph on Monday.

The Pioneers now possess a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Pierz will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 62-55 league loss to Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-33.

With the loss, Moose Lake/Willow River falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN) to battle the Jaguars in a AA Section 7 contest on Tuesday, February 18. The Jaguars go into the contest with a record of 2-23. Hinckley-Finlayson lost 72-15 in their recent non-league contest against Braham (Braham, MN)
