In Monday's league contest, the host Westmoreland Eagles basketball team scored a big 58-20 triumph over the Rappahannock Raiders.
The Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters go into the Northern Neck contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Colonial Beach smashed Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA), 32-14, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a Northern Neck contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Rappahannock will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 13-6 record after their 49-37 league win over Northumberland (Heathsville, VA).
