The Rogers Vikings ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Coventry Oakers to 5 in the Vikings league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now hold a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a Division 2 bout on Monday, February 17. Rogers will play a Saints team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Saints record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Coventry moves to 2-13 on the season. The Oakers travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to play the Clippers in a bout on Wednesday, February 19. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Cumberland won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
