Fans at Monday's league battle between the North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) and the host Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX), saw North Lamar's soccer squad knock off Chapel Hill by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 2 District 13 battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Sulphur Springs tipped Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils battle the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 13 battle, on Friday, February 21. Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-3 league North Lamar (Paris, TX).
