The Pittsburg Dragons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Chanute Blue Comets to 53 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Scott for a Southeast Kansas game on Friday, February 20. Pittsburg will confront a Tigers team coming off a 63-52 non-league win over Girard (Girard, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Chanute falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Blue comets host Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS) to clash with the Golden Tornado in a Southeast Kansas outing on Friday, February 20. The Golden Tornado come into the outing with a record of 5-11. Field Kindley lost 53-50 in their recent league outing against Parsons (Parsons, KS)
