Connecticut High School Basketball - New Fairfield overwhelmed by Bethel

The Bethel Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting New Fairfield Rebels to 41 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Masuk for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, February 22. Bethel will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-54 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.
The Rebels (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons come into the Southwest contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Joel Barlow was routed by Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 64-40, in a league contest.
