The Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) basketball felled the visiting Milford Hawks (Milford, MA), 68-48 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (15-2) will now prepare for their test against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Whalers go into the non-league test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, New Bedford was beaten by Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA), 59-53, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they host Shrewsbury for a non-league test on Monday, February 21. Milford will encounter a Colonials squad coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 8-10.
