The Franklin Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Churchill Chargers to 21 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 21. Franklin will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-50 league win over Novi (Novi, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-5.

The Chargers (4-15) will now prepare for their bout against Plymouth (Canton, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 4-14 record. In their last bout, Plymouth was crushed by Hartland (Hartland, MI), 53-17, in a league bout.
