The Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) basketball crushed the host Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR), 47-17 in Friday's league test.

The Wolverines (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets go into the 5A Midwestern test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Crater walloped North Bend (North Bend, OR), 62-23, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Churchill for a 5A Midwestern test on Tuesday, February 22. Eagle Point will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 11-7.
